- Payment information: processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Pro information: for cleaning professionals, additional information including service area, availability, and qualifications.
- Communications: SMS and email messages exchanged through our platform.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, and basic usage analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Match customers with cleaning professionals in their service area.
- Process bookings, payments, and refunds.
- Send SMS messages and emails about your bookings, including offers, confirmations, reminders, and receipts (see our SMS Terms for details).
- Resolve disputes between customers and pros.
- Improve our services and develop new features.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share your information in limited circumstances:
- Between matched customers and pros: when a pro accepts a job, we share the customer's name, address, and phone number with the assigned pro for the purpose of completing the cleaning. Likewise, the pro's name and phone number are shared with the customer.
- Service providers: we use Twilio for SMS delivery, Stripe for payment processing, Resend for email delivery, and Oracle Cloud for hosting. These providers process your data only as needed to provide their services to BubbleBox.
- Legal compliance: we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request.
- Business transfers: if BubbleBox is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your phone number or email with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as you have an active BubbleBox account, plus a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Booking records are typically retained for seven years for tax and accounting purposes.
5. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

- Object to or restrict certain processing of your information.
